Washington County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight

There will be a chance of snow in the mountains late tonight,
otherwise it will be dry with seasonal temperatures.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Thursday through Tuesday

A weak weather system will bring light snow to the mountains on
Thursday and a chance of showers across the plains. Mountain
accumulations will range from 2 to 4 inches. On the plains,
temperatures will be warm enough for a mix of rain and snow,
depending on elevation and proximity to higher terrain. The Palmer
Divide and locations near the foothills may pick up an inch or two
of snow. The weather system will be moving out of the state by
evening with precipitation coming to an end. High pressure will
build over the region Thursday night through Saturday with dry
conditions and gradually warming temperatures. The next weather
system will bring a chance of snow back to the mountains
Saturday night and Sunday and a slight chance of showers across
the plains late Sunday and Monday.

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
