WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 ...VERY COLD TEMPERATURES THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING...  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Light snow will continue through the mid morning today before the sun comes out in the afternoon. Up to another half of inch of snow accumulation is possible mainly south of Denver. Roads will be slick and snow covered this morning.  Below zero temperatures with wind gusts up to 30 mph are creating wind chill values as low as -25 F this morning across the plains. There will only be a slight moderation in the temperatures today as highs in the single digits above zero are forecast across the plains. Lows in the negative teens are possible tonight on the plains with wind chill values as low as 30 below zero.  Across the higher terrain, frigid cold temperatures and gusty winds will drop wind chills to between 35 and 50 below zero. Anybody spending more than 20 minutes could be at risk of frostbite.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday  Gusty west winds are expected Tuesday and Tuesday night in the Front Range Mountains as well as in and near the foothills. Wind gusts of 50 mph will produce areas of blowing and drifting snow, which may reduce visibility and produce slippery roads.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
