This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.
.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight
Light snow will continue decrease and end by early afternoon
across the Denver Metro area and eastern plains. Any additional
snowfall will be light. In the mountains, snow will linger through
the afternoon in spots and end during the evening hours.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Saturday through Thursday
Dry conditions and warming temperatures will return for the
weekend. The next storm system that is projected to bring snow to
the area will be Monday into Tuesday of next week. For this system
higher snowfall amounts are expected over the northern and central
mountains with some accumulation possible on the plains. Snow is
expected to continue in the high country into Wednesday while the
plains are expected to stay dry through Thanksgiving Day.
Temperatures will be above seasonal normals for the weekend, then
at or slightly below through Thursday.
