WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Scattered afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms are expected today and tonight. Gusty outflow winds to 50 mph and brief heavy rain are likely with the stronger thunderstorms.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday  Scattered thunderstorms and showers are possible both Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon across the high country. Storms could bring gusty winds, lightning, and light rainfall mainly. Although, localized heavier rainfall is possible in any stronger storms. Recent burn scars may be susceptible to flash flooding as a result.  By Thursday through the end of the week, cooler temperatures are likely. Chances are increasing for additional rainfall for the mountains and plains Thursday into the weekend.   .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
