Washington County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight

Very light snow showers will continue until 6am this morning
mainly within a triangle from DIA to Akron to Limon. Minor
accumulations of less than a half of an inch are possible. The
rest of the day will see clouds dissipating with near normal
temperatures.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Friday through Wednesday

Dry and mild weather Friday will be replaced by scattered rain and
snow showers by Saturday afternoon and evening. Mountain areas
could see 1 to 3 inches of snow, while the plains will see mainly
light rain showers changing over to a little snow before ending
Saturday night. Little if any snow accumulation is expected in
lower elevations.

Dry weather is expected to return Sunday through Tuesday. Then, a
weak weather system may bring light precipitation back into the
forecast by Wednesday.

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
