Washington County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight

Gusty westerly winds will increase tonight over the higher
mountains and exposed east slopes with speeds up to 55 mph.
Otherwise, expect mostly sunny skies and much warmer temperatures

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Wednesday through Monday

A cold front will move through Colorado on Wednesday bringing
strong winds and cooler temperatures than Tuesday. Gusts between
35-40 mph are expected over the mountains and eastern plains. The
next chance for precipitation will arrive Saturday afternoon.
Precipitation may start out as rain over the urban corridor and
plains but will quickly change over to snow by Saturday evening.
Light snowfall amounts are expected with the highest totals in the


Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
