Washington County Hazardous Weather Outlook

…Winter Weather Advisory until 9 am MST this morning…

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight

Much colder temperatures will reside over the region today behind
a passing winter storm system. Widespread light snow and
northerly winds this morning will eventually give way to mostly
sunny skies and light winds for this afternoon. With stable high
pressure over the Rocky Mountain region, clear skies, light winds
and cold temperature can be expected for tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Tuesday through Sunday

Warmer temperatures are expected through the rest of the week as a
strong upper level ridge builds over the western United States.
Expect strong and gusty winds over the mountains Tuesday night and
Wednesday with speeds up to 60 mph possible. The next chance of
rain or snow showers will be next weekend.

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
