Washington County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE…This Afternoon and Tonight

Colder temperatures and areas of freezing drizzle will develop
behind today’s cold front. This may bring some slick road
conditions late this evening into the overnight hours for the
Front Range Foothills, I-25 Corridor, and eastern plains. Bridges
and overpasses will be most susceptible to icing, but travelers
should remain alert for potential black ice overnight. Freezing
drizzle will come to an end before the Thursday morning commute,
but a few slick spots may remain. Sidewalks may also become icy,
so pedestrians should also exercise caution overnight into early
Thursday morning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Thursday through Tuesday

A cold front will push south across Colorado Sunday. This system
will bring cooler temperatures and a chance for light snow Sunday
night and Monday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT…

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
