This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight
Northwest winds will gust up to 50 mph over the higher elevations
of the Front Range and occasionally down the east slopes as far as
the Peak to Peak highway, Idaho Springs, and into South Park along
US 285. The winds will cause localized blowing snow at times.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Sunday through Friday
It will remain windy over the mountains and higher foothills this
week. There will be a slight chance of rain and snow showers near
the northern border late Sunday, then again late Wednesday night
into Thursday morning, when another system brushes the state.
Otherwise it will remain dry with temperatures below seasonal
