WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Mountain snow continues today, resulting in hazardous travel conditions from snow covered roads and areas of blowing snow. Elevated fire weather conditions this afteronon across the eastern plains with critical conditions expected for southern Lincoln County.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday  Monday through Wednesday, there will be light mountain snow showers which could create brief periods of poor travel conditions. On Thursday and Friday, heavier mountain snow is expected to return. There is considerable uncertainty with regards to precipitation across the plains those days but there is a chance that light to moderate snowfall occurs.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight. However, any reports of snow, whiteout conditions, or high winds will be appreciated.
