Washington County Hazardous Weather Outlook

…Winter Storm Warnings and Advisories cover the entire area
today through Wednesday morning…

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight

Widespread light to moderate snow will persist through this
evening. Due to very cold temperatures, roads will become icy and
snowpacked, with hazardous travel conditions through tonight.
Expect a difficult evening commute along the I-25 and I-70
Corridors this evening.

Total accumulations will range from 8 to 12 inches in the
mountains and foothills with 5 to 10 inches over portions of the
adjacent plains. Mountain valleys will see 4 to 7 inches.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Wednesday through Monday

The storm will be winding down early Wednesday, with a some minor
additional snow accumulations prior to the morning commute. Dry
weather is expected over all the forecast area from midday
Wednesday well into next week.

Temperatures will remain below seasonal normals through Monday.
They well be well below normal through Thursday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT…

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight but
snowfall amounts will be appreciated.
