This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight Moderate to heavy snow along with widespread blowing snow is expected over the high mountains of north central Colorado into the afternoon hours. Additional snow accumulations will be 2 to 4 inches in the higher mountains. Strong winds will continue to produce areas of low visibilities and drifting snow this afternoon. Road conditions should improve this evening with just light snow and ligher winds expected. Across the Plains, a sharp cold front is moving southward with a quick temperature drop of about 20 degrees and wind gusts 30-45 mph. The strong winds should subside 2-3 hours after the frontal passage, but with breezy conditions and temperatures in the teens and single digits, expect dangerous wind chills near 0 degrees this evening into the overnight hours. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday No hazardous weather is expected at this time. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
