WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 ...Significant snowfall in the high high mountains now through Thursday..   This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight  Moderate to heavy snow along with widespread blowing snow is expected over the high mountains of north central Colorado through Thursday. Strong winds and blowing snow will cause poor visibility over the high mountains and passes through tonight, with road closures expected. Strong winds are expected in the foothills as well through late tonight with gusts up to 65 mph.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday  Mountain snow and strong winds will continue through Thursday. The snow could be heavy at times, especially north of I-70. Strong winds will produce blowing snow and poor visibility over the higher mountain passes.  A cold front will move across the plains on Thursday bringing colder temperatures along with a chance of light snow.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter reports of snowfall will be appreciated.
