…Winter Weather Advisory through 8 am this morning for Denver
metro area, northern Foothills, central Mountains, South Park…

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight

Light snow will continue across the southern Front Range foothills
and portions of the Palmer Divide through 8 am. Other areas west
of I-25 near the foothills could see some light flurries through 6
am. Roads may be slick and icy across the Metro area with snow
packed conditions on I-70 near Morrison and I-25 over Monument
Hill. Travelers are urged to use caution and give yourself extra
time this morning.

Conditions will improve through the morning hours with partly
cloudy skies and temperatures staying in the 40s across the plains
with 20s and 30s in the mountains and foothills.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Friday through Wednesday

There will be a warming trend Friday and Saturday, but it will
turn colder again on Sunday as a strong cold front moves in from
the north. Snow will also be likely Sunday through Monday. Tuesday
and Wednesday will remain cold with a chance of snow as another
cold front moves into the region.
