WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 ...High wind watch for the higher mountains and Front Range Foothills on Sunday...  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Expect snow covered and slippery roads, especially this morning across the Front Range Urban westward into the foothills and mountains. Allow extra time to reach your destination if traveling this morning. Areas of light snow will linger today across the mountains. Any additional snowfall will be light, but winter weather driving conditions may persist through the day. Over the eastern plains, wind gusts to 45 mph are expected.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday  On Sunday, there will be a chance for strong winds in the Front Range Mountains and Foothills with gusts up to 80 mph possible. From Monday through Thursday there will be a few snow showers, mainly over the mountains, from time to time but no significant accumulations. The plains will be mainly dry with seasonable temperatures.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter reports of snowfall are appreciated.
