WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 ...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR THE MOUNTAINS, SOUTHERN FRONT RANGE FOOTHILLS, AND PALMER DIVIDE UNTIL 5 AM SATURDAY...  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Snow and hazardous travel conditions will spread east from the mountains into the foothills and I-25 Corridor late this afternoon and evening. The heaviest snow is expected to fall in and immediately adjacent to the foothills from Boulder southward to the Palmer Divide this evening, where 3 to 8 inches of snow can be expected. There will be a sharp west to east gradient in snowfall, so while the western suburbs of Denver will likely see several inches of snow, portions of northeastern Denver metro area may only see light amounts of snow. Farther north and east including Greeley, Fort Morgan, and Limon look for dry conditions.  Be prepared for changing travel conditions late this afternoon and especially this evening. If you plan to travel this evening, slow down, use extra caution, and allow extra time to reach your destination safely.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday  Light snow will linger into Saturday across the mountains. Any additional snowfall will be light, but winter weather driving conditions are expected through the day. Over the eastern plains, wind gusts to 45 mph are expected during the day Saturday. On Sunday, there will be a chance for strong winds in the Front Range Mountains and Foothills. From Monday through Thursday there will be a few snow showers, mainly over the mountains, from time to time but no significant accumulations.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
