This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight Very light snow showers will end in the afternoon in the mountains with minimal accumulation expected. Wind gusts up to 70 mph can be expected in the high mountains and Front Range foothills through the mid afternoon. The winds will decrease in most areas by early evening and more gradually overnight in the Front Range mountains and foothills with peak gusts staying under 45 mph. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday Dry and warmer weather is expected through Thursday. The next system will bring snow to the mountains Thursday night through Saturday with a chance of snow for the plains mainly on Friday and Friday night. Significant snow accumulations along with winter driving conditions are possible for the mountains Friday into Saturday.
