This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Light snow showers and windy conditions will continue over the mountains today. Accumulations of an inch or two are likely over the ridges, with less in the valleys and foothills. Wind gusts to 40 mph can be expected in the mountain valleys and over the northeast plains, with 50 mph gusts in the high mountains and Front Range foothills. The mountain snow will end this evening. The winds will decrease in most areas bu early evening and more gradually overnight in the Front Range mountains and foothills. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday Dry and warmer weather is expected through Thursday. The next system will bring snow to the mountains Thursday night through Saturday with a chance of snow for the plains mainly on Friday and Friday night. Significant snow accumulations along with winter driving conditions are possible for the mountains Friday into Saturday. Temperatures will be below seasonal normals Friday through the weekend for all of the forecast area. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
