This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Light to locally moderate snow this morning will taper off into occasional showers this afternoon and overnight, with minor impacts and slick conditions continuing. Temperatures will be cold, with highs in the mid to upper 20's today. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday Areas of light snow and flurries will continue through Saturday morning. Travelers should be prepared for slick roads and allow extra time for the travel conditions. The light snow will gradually come to an end from northwest to southeast across the plains on Saturday, while in the mountains a few snow showers linger into Saturday night. Temperatures will be quite cold Saturday and Saturday night. Highs are only expected to be in the lower to mid 20s on Saturday, and then lows will drop into the single digits in many locations Saturday night. Some mountain areas will see temperatures drop below zero. Drier weather and good travel conditions will prevail by Sunday. Those conditions will remain in place through the middle of next week, with a gradual warming trend as well. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed.
