This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight The majority of the day today will be dry with snow showers arriving in the mountains this evening. The western slopes are expected to see 1-3 inches of snow tonight with the Park Range seeing the highest amounts. The mountain valleys might see up to an inch of accumulation if a good shower were to come overhead. This may impact travel with some mountain passes seeing slick and snow-covered roads. The plains will remain dry and mild today and tonight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday Light snow will continue in the mountains through Monday. This may impact travel with snow and blowing snow creating low visibility and slick roads. The plains will see a chance of rain and snow showers from late Sunday into Monday but amounts look to be on the lighter side and mainly over the Palmer Divide. The primary weather impact will be strong winds that could gust up to 55 mph across the eastern plains on Monday. This could create blowing dust and perhaps travel impacts especially on I-70. Pre-Thanksgiving holiday travel for the immediate region will be dry and warmer from Tuesday through Wednesday, and lasting into Thanksgiving day. Looking ahead to the Thanksgiving weekend, colder temperatures will arrive with snow and possible travel impacts possible toward Friday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
