This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Patchy fog will prevail through mid morning along the Front Range. Over the mountains, there will be a few areas of light snow. As high pressure builds over the region, skies will become mostly sunny this afternoon with mild temperatures. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday Light precipitation will arrive in the mountains late Saturday that will last through Monday. The western slopes can expect a few inches of snow mainly Saturday night and Sunday night into the day on Monday. This may impact travel with snow and blowing snow creating low visibility and slick roads. The plains will see a chance of precipitation late Sunday into Monday but amounts look to be on the lighter side. The primary weather impact will be strong winds that could gust up to 55 mph across the eastern plains on Monday. This could create blowing dust and perhaps travel impacts especially on I-70. Looking ahead to the Thanksgiving weekend, there is a small possibility of a snowstorm arriving late in the day on Thanksgiving and during Black Friday. There is low confidence in precipitation amounts but the weekend looks rather cold. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed.
