…WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR THE FOOTHILLS AND PLAINS UNTIL 3 PM

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.
.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight
A band of snow will continue to move southeast through the late
morning hours bringing 1-2 inches of snow in less than 45
minutes. Snow will dissipate after 11 am for areas across the
higher elevations and Denver Metro area. Light snow will continue
in the mountains through the day with lower elevations becoming
dry. Temperatures will struggle to make it out of the 20s today
with temperatures dropping into the teens on the plains overnight
and single digits to below zero for the mountains and high
valleys.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Friday through Wednesday
Dry weather is expected for the forecast area Friday through
Wednesday. Temperatures will warm up a bit on Friday but will
still be below seasonal normals. From Saturday onward, readings
will warm to near or even a bit above normals through, at least,
mid next week.
