Washington County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight

Isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected over the
mountains, foothills, and Front Range this afternoon and evening.
Gusty winds and light rainfall is expected with this activity.
Over far northeast Colorado, scattered thunderstorms with heavy
rain, hail up to one inch in diameter, and wind gusts to 60 mph
will be possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Wednesday through Monday

A cooler and wetter period can be expected Wednesday through
Friday with slightly drier conditions expected for Saturday into
Monday. Scattered to widespread storms can be expected in the
afternoon and evenings for Wednesday through Friday. Brief heavy
rainfall will be the primary threat along with a few severe
storms containing large hail and strong winds. Looking further
ahead, enough moisture will be available Saturday through Monday
for gusty isolated to scattered afternoon and early evening
showers and thunderstorms.

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
