WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Today will remain mostly cloudy and cool over the plains as higher stability limits light rain showers to locations in and near the Front Range foothills. The best chance for afternoon showers and thunderstorms will be in the mountains, especially along and west of the Continental Divide with brief heavy rain. Showers and thunderstorms will diminish by later this evening over the mountains. Smoky skies will prevail today as well limiting visibility and bringing poor air quality.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday  For the weekend, scattered thunderstorms are expected over the mountains and the Palmer Divide area south of Denver with just a slight chance of storms further east. There will be an increasing trend in thunderstorm activity in the early to middle part of next week, with some strong storms possible on the plains.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
