WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Scattered thunderstorms are expected to form over the mountains this afternoon and then spread eastward onto the foothills, Palmer Divide and nearby plains through early evening. Brief heavy rain and small hail will be possible with the stronger thunderstorms.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday  Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms will occur most days through this upcoming week.  A couple stronger storms will be possible late Tuesday and again on Wednesday over the northeast plains. By Thursday, more widespread showers and thunderstorms will be possible as a cold front and upper level disturbance arrive. Most of the unsettled weather should then shift into the mountain areas for Friday and Saturday.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
