…FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
FRIDAY EVENING FOR THE MOUNTAINS, HIGHER VALLEYS AND FOOTHILLS…

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight

Winds in the mountains will be lighter than over the past several
days, allowing fire danger levels to moderate. Humidities in the
mountains will still drop below 15 percent under sunny skies,
which will keep the fire danger elevated.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Friday through Wednesday

Fire danger will remain high over the higher terrain on Friday due
to gusty west to southwest winds and dry conditions. There will be
a chance of showers and storms Friday evening over the far
northeast plains.

Fire danger will remain high on Saturday across the higher terrain and
portions of the plains due to gusty west to northwest winds. Sunday
through Tuesday will remain dry. Freezing temperatures will be
possible across portions of the plains Monday morning.

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
