WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 ...SNOW SHOWERS AND COLDER TEMPERATURES...  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Periods of moderate snow and slick travel conditions will continue in the mountains this morning through late this evening thus use caution while traveling. Additionally, areas such as Fort Collins along the I-25 corridor may encounter slick spots this AM commute as snow bands occur through early afternoon. The heaviest snowfall will occur in the northern foothills with an additional 2-4 inches. Blowing snow will likely occur for places in Estes Park and Rabbit Ears with wind gusts up to 45-55 mph. Tonight, overcast skies continue in mountains along with light flurries into early Wednesday morning.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday  Wednesday will feature continued much below normal temperatures, along with scattered but lighter snow showers.  A prolonged warming trend with dry weather will start Thursday, and continue through early next week.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed. Any reports of snow accumulation will be appreciated.
