Washington County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight

Expect elevated fire danger this afternoon as gusty westerly winds
increase in the mountains and locations near the Wyoming border.
Gusts up to to 40 mph will be possible over the high mountain
passes and up to 25 mph across lower elevations near the Wyoming
border. Dry conditions are expected through tonight with a dry
and stable airmass in place.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Wednesday through Monday

Dry conditions will prevail through Thursday with highs ranging
from the mid-70s to the upper 80s. Winds will increase by Friday
ahead of an upper trough. The next chance for precipitation will
be Friday evening and through the weekend when there is a slight
chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly over the higher
terrain.

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
