This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight
Cooler today behind a cold frontal push during the overnight
hours. Highs across the region will be 10 to 15 degrees cooler
than previous days. Mostly sunny conditions expected through the
morning hours with increasing clouds by the afternoon hours.
Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will be possible mainly east
of I-25 toward the KS and NE border after 5 pm and into the late
evening hours. Main hazards will be gusty winds with rain and
lighting. Some increased winds are possible over the higher
elevations and over portions of Lincoln county with gusts up to 35
mph possible. No Red Flag conditions today, however fire danger
remains elevated with dry conditions and lower RH levels across
portions of the eastern plains and foothills.
