Hart Ranch Hazardous Weather Outlook

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northwestern
South Dakota…southwestern South Dakota…the Black Hills of
South Dakota…northeast Wyoming…and the Black Hills of
Wyoming.

.DAY ONE…This Afternoon and Tonight

Areas of fog and patchy freezing drizzle are expected later
tonight into early Wednesday.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Wednesday through Monday

A storm system will track across the central Plains later
Wednesday night into Thursday night. Latest model trends continue
to have the system taking a more southerly track across the
region, with potential snowfall relatively light across the area.
Total snow amounts are expected to be around an inch or less.
However, hazardous travel conditions will be possible with
freezing drizzle and freezing rain that develop Wednesday night
into Thursday morning.

Gusty northerly winds will develop on Thursday and persist into
Thursday evening. The strongest winds will be across the west
central South Dakota plains, where some gusts up to 50 mph are
possible Thursday afternoon.
