.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Friday through Wednesday
A very strong storm system will likely impact the region late
Friday through Saturday. Blizzard Warnings and Winter Storm
Warnings have been issued. Most locations are expected to see 6 to
12 inches of snow, with some locally higher amounts. The northern
Black Hills are expected to receive 12-24 inches of snow. Strong
winds will produce significant blowing and drifting of snow, with
blizzard conditions expected across the western South Dakota
plains. Travel could be very difficult to impossible over the
weekend. If you have travel plans Friday and over the weekend,
keep updated on the latest forecast.
