Wyoming.

A strong storm system will likely impact the region later on
Friday and into the weekend. Winter storm watches are in effect
for Friday night through Saturday night. There is still
uncertainty on the exact track and timing of the system at this
time, but there is high potential for 6 inches or more of
snowfall across much of the area. A foot or more of snowfall is
possible across the northern Black Hills and portions of the
northwest and west central South Dakota plains. Strong winds could
produce significant blowing and drifting of snow, with blizzard
conditions possible across the western South Dakota plains. Travel
could be very difficult to impossible over the weekend. If you
have travel plans Friday and over the weekend, keep updated on the
forecast over the next few days.
