This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for western South Dakota and
.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight
Another round of snow is expected today, as a strong cold front
moves through the Northern Plains. Accumulations of half an inch,
to around 2 inches will be possible across the plains, with the
highest amounts across northwest South Dakota. Snowfall amounts of
1 to 3 inches are expected across the Black Hills area. With
breezy north winds, the visibility will be reduced in areas of
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Thursday through Tuesday
After a few dry and mild days, another strong cold front will drop
through the Northern Plains Saturday night, bringing additional
snow and well below average temperatures back to the area.
