Day 1 Severe Weather Outlook

Valid 121630Z – 131200Z

Severe thunderstorms are not forecast through early Monday.

A weak baroclinic zone extends from southern GA into far eastern NC
today. Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms will be possible
this afternoon and evening in vicinity of the boundary, but 12z
guidance suggests that updrafts/downdrafts will have limited
intensity. Present indications are that the risk of severe storms
is low.

Elsewhere, a few thunderstorms are possible over parts of FL, as
well as portions of WA/OR/ID. Otherwise, dry and stable conditions
are expected to preclude thunderstorm activity today.
