A progressive/low-amplitude large-scale pattern will exist over the
CONUS today. Early-day thunderstorm potential near the coastal
Pacific Northwest will continue to quickly diminish this morning as
a cold front moves inland and a trend of subsidence/warming
mid-level temperatures prevails. Elsewhere, cool/stable conditions
will preclude thunderstorms across the remainder of the CONUS.
