southeast United States. No severe storms are expected.

Surface front has surged southeast across much of the Gulf States
this evening and currently extends from the central Carolinas – GA –
FL Panhandle. Weak post-frontal convection trails the surface
boundary from LA into the southern Appalachians but lightning has
recently dissipated over the lower MS Valley. 00z soundings from
this region are not particularly buoyant and the probability for
thunderstorms will remain low across the Gulf States, even within
the 10% probability.
