Severe thunderstorms will not occur across the contiguous United
States tonight.
…Synopsis…
A mid-level shortwave trough will move from the TX Panhandle to the
lower MS Valley by daybreak Friday. Concurrently, a weak low will
move from southwest OK to the Ark-La-Tex as showers and isolated
thunderstorms develop eastward across OK later this evening and AR
late tonight. Meager buoyancy will develop with isolated to widely
scattered elevated thunderstorms becoming increasingly probable as
stronger forcing for ascent spreads east across eastern OK into AR
and the lower MS Valley. Elsewhere, primarily dry/stable conditions
will prove hostile to thunderstorm activity.
