Thunderstorms will be possible tonight across parts of Florida and
from New Jersey to near Boston. No severe threat is expected.

Water vapor shows an upper-level low over the northern part of the
Ohio Valley with west-southwesterly mid-level flow located from the
Appalachians to the eastern Seaboard. At the surface, a cold front
is advancing eastward from the southern Appalachians into the
eastern Gulf Coast States. A moist airmass is present ahead of the
front across the Florida Peninsula where isolated thunderstorm
development may take place tonight. Additional thunderstorms may
occur from New Jersey into southern New England in response to
strong large-scale ascent and very weak instability in the
mid-levels. A severe threat is not expected across the CONUS
tonight.
