Day 1 Severe Weather Outlook

Valid 060100Z – 061200Z

Severe thunderstorms are not forecast across the contiguous U.S.

Isolated thunderstorms across the central FL peninsula are expected
to diminish within the next couple hours.

A strengthening low-level warm advection regime centered on the
Lower Red River Valley to Ozarks region should support a confined
corridor of elevated convection developing after 08Z. The strongest
updraft or two might produce small hail.

Across eastern AZ, southern NM, and Far West TX, persistent
warm/moist advection around 700 mb should contribute to weak
elevated buoyancy as a shortwave trough near Baja CA drifts slowly
east. Convective coverage should largely remain isolated and be
focused mainly after 08Z.
