Severe thunderstorms are not expected today or tonight.
In the mid-upper levels, cyclonic flow will remain entrenched across
much of the United States through Sunday morning. At the same time,
a surface front draped across the southern Florida Peninsula will
move very little. Despite weak surface convergence along the front,
a moist environment combined with diurnal land/sea breeze
circulations will support isolated convection during the forecast
period — some of which may produce lightning.
