Day 1 Severe Weather Outlook

Valid 251630Z – 261200Z

Thunderstorms are possible through tonight over parts of the
Southeast, and in Deep South Texas.

Fast zonal flow lies across the Gulf coast region and southeast
states. A persistent band of showers and thunderstorms will sag
southward across the central FL peninsula this afternoon and
evening. Midlevel flow is sufficient for some convective
organization, but weak low-level flow and limited CAPE should limit
the overall risk of strong/severe storms. Other more isolated
thunderstorms are possible today and tonight across parts of GA and
the Carolinas, and over Deep South TX after dark.
