A couple hours of critical fire weather conditions are forecast across Yuma and northern Kit Carson counties from the mid afternoon into the evening hours. Minimal humidity recovery is forecast ahead of a wind shift overnight and increase in winds. Should a fire start it could have the potential for erratic behavior. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY... A cold front moving through the area Wednesday morning may bring some patchy blowing dust as winds gust up to 55 mph. The dust may bring localized reductions in visibility down to one mile or less along with poor air quality.
