This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT... Severe thunderstorms capable of producing very large hail are possible in northwest Kansas this afternoon, mainly along and east of Highway 83. Due to the slow movement of these storms, torrential rainfall and flash flooding are also a concern. Thunderstorms in the lee of the Colorado Front Range will move eastward across portions of northeast Colorado, northwest Kansas and southwest Nebraska later this afternoon and evening. Damaging winds appear to be the primary hazard with these storms. Gusts in excess of 75 mph are possible, especially along and north of Highway 36. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SUNDAY... Another round of severe storms is likely late Monday afternoon and evening. Damaging winds will continue to be the primary hazard.
