YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  An Extreme Cold Warning remains in effect for the entire Tri-State area. Wind chill readings down to as low as 35 degrees below zero are expected this morning and again tonight. This will lead to an increased potential of rapid onset of hypothermia not only in humans but livestock and pets as well. Frostbite may occur in 30 minutes or less.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...  An Extreme Cold Warning remains in effect through Thursday morning for the entire Tri-State area. Wind chill readings will remain as low as 35 below zero, leading to an increased potential of rapid onset of hypothermia not only in humans but livestock and pets as well. Frostbite may occur in 30 minutes or less.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
