This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Continued light snow showers for the mountains today, with slick conditions persisting for many roadways. Snow showers will be more isolated for the plains most of the day, although banded snow will develop across the northern plains this afternoon and continue into tonight, with a few inches of accumulation and slick roads likely. Additionally, very cold temperatures will persist, with widespread highs below 15 degrees today (colder for eastern plains) and the cold peaking overnight, when wind chills of -5 to -30 will be common. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday The mountains will have light snow on Wednesday, mainly over the ridges. A cold arctic airmass will be in place across the plains through Thursday morning. Highs will be in the single digits and teens, with single digits above and below zero overnight. The coldest temperatures will be in the northeast corner of the state where wind chills as low as -30F are expected. Another weather system will bring more snow to the mountains Thursday night and Friday with a chance of snow across the plains.
