This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT... Light snow may develop over portions of the area late this evening and overnight, mainly along and north of Interstate 70 where a dusting to one inch of snow accumulation is possible. Aside from locally hazardous travel conditions, significant and or widespread impacts are not anticipated. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SUNDAY... A storm system moving ashore the Pacific Coast on Monday will track eastward over the Desert Southwest and 4-Corners on Tuesday, then northeastward across the Central Plains on Wednesday. Considerable uncertainty exists with regard to the precise track of this system... and the amount of precipitation that will accompany it. Hazardous travel conditions associated with accumulating snow and breezy north winds are possible Tuesday evening through Wednesday night.
