YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  A Heat Advisory is in effect Tuesday afternoon and evening for Decatur, Norton, Thomas, Sheridan, Graham, Logan and Gove counties. Heat index values up to 105 degrees are expected. Be sure to drink plenty of water and take breaks in the shade during the afternoon hours.  Near critical to locally critical fire weather conditions are expected across most of the Tri-State area this afternoon.  Isolated non severe thunderstorms are expected mainly along and west of Colorado Highway 385 during the evening.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...  Isolated thunderstorms are possible each afternoon and evening with localized wind gusts up to 60 mph and lightning induced wildfires the main hazards.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
