YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THROUGH TONIGHT...  A Red Flag Warning remains in effect until sunset this evening for Kit Carson, Cheyenne and Yuma counties in Colorado.  A few thunderstorms may develop along and north of Highway 36 late this afternoon and evening. An isolated severe thunderstorm is possible, mainly between 5 PM and 10 PM MDT.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...  On Sunday, a Fire Weather Watch is in effect for portions of the area, mainly south and west of Goodland.  On Monday, a Fire Weather Watch is in effect for portions of the area, mainly along and west of Highway 25.  On Tuesday, elevated to near critical fire weather conditions are possible across portions of the area, mainly south and west of Goodland.  Scattered thunderstorms are possible Wednesday through Saturday afternoon and early evening hours.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  A few thunderstorms may develop between 5 PM and 10 PM MDT this evening, mainly along and north of Highway 36. Spotters are encouraged to report any severe or significant weather.
