YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TONIGHT...  Fog is expected to develop around midnight MDT (1 AM CDT) and continue through the rest of the night for areas east of a line from Stratton, Nebraska to Colby and Oakley, Kansas. Dense fog is possible with visibilities falling to one quarter mile or less.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...  Fog is expected to continue through 9 AM MDT (10 AM CDT) Friday morning for locations east of a line from Stratton, Nebraska to Colby and Oakley, Kansas. Dense fog is possible with visibilities falling to one quarter mile or less.  A Fire Weather Watch has been issued for possible critical fire weather conditions on Saturday.  Depending upon how fast the fine fuels dry out with the warm temperatures expected over the weekend and into next week, and how fast green-up occurs following the recent rainfall, Elevated to Critical fire weather conditions are possible each afternoon from Friday through Tuesday for areas along and west of the Kansas and Colorado border region.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
