YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 900 AM MDT for Kit Carson county in Colorado, as well as Sherman county in Kansas. Dense fog will impact travelers, especially on Interstate 70 during this time. Visibility could drop to less than a quarter mile at times.  Showers and some thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and evening. Locally heavy rainfall is possible in areas along/east of Highway 83.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...  Areas of dense fog are possible early Thursday morning. Locally heavy rainfall in some thunderstorms along/east of Highway 83 is possible.  Near critical to critical fire weather conditions are possible during the day on Saturday and next Monday. Areas affected will be along/west of a Flagler, Colorado to Tribune, Kansas line.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed, but any visibility reports would be greatly appreciated. Please do so safely.
